SalarySelected candidates will receive a total Contract Emoluments of ₹70,000/- per month, consisting of Fixed and Variable components. Additionally, an incidental allowance of ₹500/- per day is payable for the actual number of days worked outside the place of posting. Note: In case a selected candidate avails Maternity Leave during the contractual engagement, only the Fixed component of the Contract Emoluments will be paid for that period. Statutory benefits of Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) and Gratuity are applicable.

Eligibility / Qualification

Candidates must fulfil the qualification, experience, and age criteria mentioned below as on the date of registration for the Walk-in Interview. Oil India Chemist Educational Qualification Master's Degree in Chemistry of a minimum 02 (two) years duration from a Government of India recognized University/Institute. Minimum 02 (two) years of post-qualification work experience in handling drilling/workover fluids in the E&P (Exploration & Production) industry (Drilling and Workover Wells). Oil India Contractual Chemist Age Limit 2026 Category Maximum Age Limit General 45 years OBC (NCL) 48 years SC 50 years Minimum age for all categories: 18 years. Age is reckoned as on the date of registration for the Walk-in Interview. Only a Class 10th certificate, Admit Card, or Marksheet issued by a recognized Government Education Board will be accepted as valid proof of date of birth.

Selection Process

Selection will be made purely through a Walk-in Interview, as per the criteria below: Candidates will be assessed through a Walk-in Interview carrying a total of 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks are 50, applicable to all categories. Assessment parameters include Professional Knowledge and Skills (in the concerned discipline), Professional Knowledge and Skills (in allied discipline), and Personal Attributes and Soft Skills. Final selection will be strictly on merit, based on marks obtained in the Walk-in Interview by candidates securing the qualifying marks of 50 or above.
