1) Educational Qualification Passed HSLC or equivalent examination from any Central/State recognised Board. Successfully completed 6 (six) months Recorder Certificate Class Course (RCCC) Training from Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati-40 (except Sixth Schedule districts/other States). Proficiency in use of Computers and Information Technology with minimum 30 words per minute typing speed in Assamese/Bengali (Unicode). 2) Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025) Minimum age: 21 years. Maximum age: 40 years. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PwD and other reserved categories as per Assam Government rules.

Written Examination (Paper-I): 80 marks, Objective type MCQs – Mathematics (Class X level) 10 marks, Conventional Survey 50 marks, Modern Survey 20 marks; 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer. Skill Test (Paper-II – Computer Proficiency): 20 marks – Assamese/Bengali Unicode typing, basic computer operations, document preparation and formatting, data entry, file handling and printing. Shortlisting: Candidates qualifying minimum category-wise cut-off in written test will be called for Skill Test and document verification.
