Eligibility / Qualification
Candidates applying for AP DME Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 must ensure that they fully satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria regarding qualification, age limit and local status before submitting the online application form. Application Fee

Selection Process
The AP DME Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 selection process will be based on merit in the postgraduate examination and applicable reservation rules. Merit-Based Shortlisting: The marks obtained in the postgraduate exam (MD/MS/DNB – theory and practical) will be considered for preparing the merit list for Senior Resident posts in Broad Specialties. Rule of Reservation: Selection will be carried out by strictly following the Rule of Reservation (RoR) as per the State and Subordinate Service rules of Andhra Pradesh, applying category-wise reservation to the available Senior Resident vacancies. Tie-Breaker Criteria: In case two or more candidates secure the same postgraduate marks, the date of birth will be used as a tie-breaker and the elder candidate will be given preference in AP Senior Resident selection 2026. Final Decision of Selection Committee: The selection committee reserves the right to modify conditions, alter notified posts and finalize the selection list in accordance with AP DME guidelines and Government orders.
