Eligibility / Qualification
Educational Qualifications Per Post All qualifications must be held as of the date of notification - 10 June 2026. Candidates should verify registration renewals are current before applying. Staff Nurse Candidates must hold a B.Sc. Nursing or General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) degree and must be registered with the Andhra Pradesh Nursing & Midwifery Council (APNMC) with an up-to-date renewal. Pharmacist Candidates must hold a D.Pharma, B.Pharma, or an Intermediate Vocational Course in Pharmacy recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, and must be registered with the AP Pharmacy Council with an up-to-date renewal. Multi Rehabilitation Worker Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent, a one-and-a-half-year certificate course in Multi Rehabilitation Work from a recognized university, and must be registered as Rehabilitation Personnel under the RCI Act, 1992. Age Limit The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 42 years, calculated as on 01 January 2026 (as per G.O.Ms.No.36, GA (Ser-A) Dept., Dt. 04/03/2025). No candidate below 18 or above 42 years (before relaxation) is eligible. Selection Process
Selection for APMSRB Recruitment 2026 is based entirely on merit and Rule of Reservation - there is no written examination. The total score of 100 marks is composed of three weighted components. Marks Distribution Component Marks Qualifying Examination Marks 75 Weightage for Years Since Passing (@ 1 mark/year, up to PG/Super-Specialty) Up to 10 Contract Service Weightage Up to 15 Total 100 Contract Service Weightage Breakdown Candidates with prior NHM/Government contract service can earn up to 15 marks based on the type and duration of service: Service Type Weightage COVID-19 Duties 5.0 marks per 6 months (0.83 marks/completed month) Tribal Area Service 2.5 marks per 6 months Rural Area Service 2.0 marks per 6 months Urban Area Service 1.0 mark per 6 months Service of less than 6 months earns no weightage (except COVID-19, where each completed month counts individually). Separate spells of days cannot be clubbed. Merit List Validity The merit list prepared under this notification is valid for one year or until a fresh notification is issued, whichever is earlier.
