Candidates must have passed Class 10th and possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC/ITI) and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the relevant trade, with at least 60% marks for General/OBC candidates and 55% for SC/ST candidates in both NTC/ITI and NAC. Knowledge of the regional language is desirable for Tamil Nadu, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka units, while Hindi is desirable for other units.
