Eligibility / Qualification
Candidates must satisfy all eligibility conditions as on the date of Notification i.e., 05/06/2026. The result of requisite educational qualification must have been declared by the concerned University as on the date of notification. Mere possession of the minimum educational qualification does not guarantee selection. Criteria Details Citizenship Candidate must be a citizen of India as per TGPSC recruitment rules. Educational Qualification Bachelor’s Degree (UGC-recognised) + Post Graduate Degree with 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) from a UGC-recognised University. Distance Education Degrees obtained through Open/Distance Education mode must be recognised by UGC / AICTE / Distance Education Bureau. Unrecognised degrees will not be accepted. Experience No essential experience is specified for this post. OBC / BC Status Only BC Non-Creamy Layer candidates are eligible for reservation benefits. BC-E reservation subject to court orders. PH Eligibility PH (VH) candidates with disability not less than 40% are eligible as per reservation conditions. Disability certificate in SADAREM format from competent medical authority required. Local Candidature 95% local reservation is applicable for both Multi Zone-I and Multi Zone-II posts as per G.O.Ms.No.124, dated 30/08/2018. Government Employees Candidates in government service must inform their Head of Office/Department in writing and submit a No Objection Certificate when required by TGPSC.

The application fee includes both Application Processing Fee and Examination Fee, to be paid online only and is non-refundable. Selection Process
Selection will be made through a Written Examination (Objective Type) conducted either in OMR-based Offline mode or Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) mode. The mode of examination will be notified through web note / press note and also on the Hall Ticket. Stage 1 - Written Examination (Objective Type) The examination consists of two papers totalling 450 marks. Paper-I covers General Studies and General Abilities (150 questions, 150 marks, 150 minutes). Paper-II covers Basic Foundations of Education (Part A: 75 marks) and Educational Leadership, Administration and Management (Part B: 75 marks), totalling 150 marks in 150 minutes. The examination is bilingual (English and Telugu). Qualifying marks: OC/Sports/EWS - 40%, BC - 35%, SC/ST/PH - 30%. Stage 2 - Normalization (for Multi-Session CBRT) If the examination is conducted in multiple sessions, TGPSC will normalize scores using the Commission’s adopted formula to account for variation in question papers. Results will be announced on percentile basis after normalization. Normalized marks only will be used for General Ranking List (GRL) preparation. Stage 3 - Document Verification & Medical Examination Selected candidates must undergo document verification and be found medically fit as per the prescribed medical examination. Appointment is subject to sound health, active habits, and satisfactory character and conduct.
