Eligibility / Qualification
Assistant Professor (Neurology) (Super-specialty) Class-I (Gazetted): A recognised medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, now National Medical Commission Act, 2019. Postgraduate and post-doctoral degrees as mentioned in Part-A of Annexure-II or its equivalent qualifications in the concerned Super-Speciality. At least 3 years teaching experience as Lecturer/Registrar/Demonstrator/Resident after doing post-graduation in the concerned specialty in any recognized Medical College. D.M. Neurology 2/3 years course as recognized by M.C.I. after M.D. Medicine, or M.B.B.S. and 5 years direct course leading to D.M. Neurology. Assistant Professor Cardiac Anaesthesia (Super-Specialty) Class-I (Gazetted): A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, now National Medical Commission Act, 2019. Post graduate and post doctoral degrees as mentioned in Part-A of Annexure-II or its equivalent qualifications in the concerned super-speciality. At least 3 years teaching experience as Lecturer/Registrar/Demonstrator/Resident after doing post-graduation in the concerned speciality in any recognised Medical College. DM (Cardiac Anaesthesia). Assistant Professor Cardiology: A recognised medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, now National Medical Commission Act, 2019. Holders of Educational Qualification included in Part-II of the third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section-13 of Indian Medical Council Act,1956 now National Medical Commission Act, 2019.Postgraduate and post-doctoral degrees as mentioned in Part-A of Annexure-II or its equivalent qualifications in the concerned Super-Speciality. At least 3 years teaching experience as Lecturer/Registrar/Demonstrators/Resident after doing post-graduation in the concerned specialty in any recognized Medical College. Assistant Professor (Super Speciality) Gastroenterology: A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, now National Medical Commission Act, 2019. Holders of Educational Qualification included in Part-II of the third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section-13 of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, now National Medical Commission Act, 2019. Postgraduate and post-doctoral degrees as mentioned in Part-A of Annexure-II or its equivalent qualifications in the concerned Super-speciality. At least 3 years teaching experience as Lecturer/Registrar/Demonstrator/Resident after doing post-graduation in the concerned speciality in any recognised Medical College. Assistant Professor (Plastic Surgery): Two/Three years degree course while doing D.M./M.Ch shall be counted as Teaching experience for the purpose of appointment as Assistant Professor (Super-Speciality). M.Ch. Plastic Surgery 2/3 years course as recognized by M.C.I. after M.S. Surgery, or M.B.B.S. and 5 years direct course leading to M.Ch. Plastic Surgery. Assistant Professor (CTVS): M.Ch. C.T.S. 2/3 years course as recognized by M.C.I. after MS Surgery, or MBBS and 5 years direct course leading to M.Ch. CTS. Assistant Professor (Neurology): Two/Three years degree course while doing D.M./M.Ch shall be counted as teaching experience for the purpose of appointment as Assistant Professor (Super Specialty). D.M. Neurology 2/3 years course as recognized by M.C.I. after M.D. Medicine, or M.B.B.S. and 5 years direct course leading to D.M. Neurology.
