Post Qualification Experience Professor of Law (Regular) Essential Qualifications, Experience and other eligibility conditions shall be the same as prescribed under UGC Regulations, 2018, for a Professor of Law. As prescribed under UGC Regulations, 2018, for a Professor of Law Eligibility for essential qualification(s), experience, age and other conditions is reckoned as on the closing date of the advertisement (21 November 2026). The prescribed essential qualifications are only the minimum. Having them does not entitle a candidate to be called for the test or interview. Other Eligibility Conditions These conditions apply without prejudice to the HPNLU Shimla Executive and Service Regulations, 2020 (as amended from time to time) or any other law in force: An applicant must not be engaged or appointed elsewhere on a salary or honorarium payment basis. An applicant should not have been involved in any criminal case, whether pending or convicted. An applicant must not be facing any disciplinary proceeding before the Bar Council of India, the Bar Council of the State, Institutes or any other authority.
