The OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate must have been issued no earlier than 01 (One) Year before the date of interview. It must be in the format used for jobs in the Govt. of India and issued by an Officer not below the rank of Sub-Divisional Officer, or an Equivalent Authority of the concerned State, for a Central Govt. job. OBC candidates must give a non-creamy layer certificate as per Govt. of India DOPT O.M. No. 36012/22/93-Estt.(SCT) dated 15.11.1993 and a certificate as per DOPT O.M. No. 36036/2/2013-Estt (Res) dated 30.05.2014. An OBC candidate who fails to do so will be considered under the General category. Candidates claiming reservation or age relaxation under SC/ST/OBC/PWD must make sure they are eligible and give certificates in the prescribed format. A candidate who cannot produce a valid EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwBD certificate will be treated as Unreserved (UR). Reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PWD) follows the prevailing guidelines of the Government of India.
