Candidates are ranked in this order of preference: Candidates who have passed NET/SLET in the relevant subject or who hold a Ph.D. degree. A degree related to Music Theory (Sangeet Shastra) and experience of theory teaching. Preference goes to the highest marks at postgraduate level in the prescribed subject. A postgraduate specialisation in one subject is accepted only for that subject. For example, in music, candidates who studied instrumental music (वादन) are not eligible for Vocal (गायन). Temporary Guest Teacher – Computer Science For S.No. 4, the notice requires that the candidate has passed M.Tech./M.Sc./an equivalent examination and has two years' work experience. Temporary Guest Accompanist – Tabla, Sarangi and Vocal For the guest accompanist posts at S.No. 05 to 08, selection is made entirely on merit. The order of preference is: Age: minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years. SC, ST and OBC candidates get an age relaxation of 5 years. Qualification: Graduate/Visharad/equivalent examination in the relevant discipline (विधा) with at least 55% marks. SC and ST candidates get a 5% relaxation in marks. Preference goes to All India Radio graded artists. Temporary Guest Accompanist – Harmonium Age: minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years. SC, ST and OBC candidates get an age relaxation of 5 years. Qualification: Graduate/Visharad/equivalent examination in any discipline of classical music with at least 55% marks. Preference goes to candidates who have passed a Diploma/equivalent examination in Harmonium. Preference goes to All India Radio graded artists.
