None of the posts has a vacancy for EWS at the Professor or Associate Professor level. Educational Qualification and Experience The notice lists the educational and other qualifications for every post as "As per N M C." Applicants must meet the educational qualifications and experience set by the Medical Council of India's Minimum Qualification for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations, 1999. Age Limit Candidates below 70 years of age may apply for contractual appointment to the medical teacher posts. The notice does not print an "as on" date for age. Salary Under Government Order No. 109/2024/176/71-1-2024/71-1001/804/2020 dated 18 July 2024, contractual teachers get a fixed pay of ₹2,20,000 per month (Professor), ₹1,60,000 per month (Associate Professor) or ₹1,20,000 per month (Assistant Professor). The college will follow any government orders on pay issued from time to time. Government Letter No. 250/2018/4067/71-1-2017-जी-63/2008, dated 20 September 2018, was issued by Medical Education Section-1, Lucknow. Under this letter, a retired Professor of a government medical education institution who is appointed as Professor on contract will get a fixed pay of ₹2,20,000 per month under the prescribed conditions. Apart from the fixed pay, contractual teachers are not entitled to any other pay, allowances, bonus, pension or service benefits.
