Eligibility / Qualification
Nationality Applicants must be Indian citizens or persons registered as Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955. AIIMS Rewari Qualification Post Qualification Required Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology 1. A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.2. MD in Anesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.3. Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree. Assistant Professor of Anatomy For Medical Candidates: 1. Medical qualification under IMC Act 1956. 2. M.D./M.S. in Anatomy or equivalent. 3. Three years teaching/research experience after qualifying degree.For Non-Medical Candidates: 1. Master's Degree in Anatomy. 2. Doctorate degree from a recognized University. 3. Three years teaching/research experience after Doctorate degree. Assistant Professor of Biochemistry For Medical Candidates: 1. Medical qualification under IMC Act 1956. 2. MD in Biochemistry or equivalent. 3. Three years teaching/research experience after qualifying degree.For Non-Medical Candidates: 1. Master's Degree in Biochemistry or Medical Biochemistry. 2. Doctorate degree. 3. Three years teaching/research experience after Doctorate degree. Assistant Professor of General Medicine 1. Medical qualification under IMC Act 1956.2. MD in Medicine or equivalent.3. Three years teaching/research experience in specialty after qualifying degree. Assistant Professor of General Surgery 1. Medical qualification under IMC Act 1956.2. M.S. in Surgery or equivalent.3. Three years teaching/research experience in specialty after qualifying degree. Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology 1. Medical qualification under IMC Act 1956.2. M.D./M.S. in Obstetrics & Gynaecology or equivalent.3. Three years teaching/research experience in specialty after qualifying degree. Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics 1. Medical qualification under IMC Act 1956.2. M.S. in Orthopaedics or equivalent.3. Three years teaching/research experience in specialty after qualifying degree. Assistant Professor of Paediatrics 1. Medical qualification under IMC Act 1956.2. M.D. in Paediatrics or equivalent.3. Three years teaching/research experience in specialty after qualifying degree. Assistant Professor of Physiology For Medical Candidates: 1. Medical qualification under IMC Act 1956. 2. M.D. in Physiology or equivalent. 3. Three years teaching/research experience after qualifying degree.For Non-Medical Candidates: 1. Master's Degree in Physiology. 2. Doctorate degree. 3. Three years teaching/research experience after Doctorate degree. Assistant Professor of Psychiatry 1. Medical qualification under IMC Act 1956.2. M.D. in Psychiatry or equivalent.3. Three years teaching/research experience in specialty after qualifying degree. Assistant Professor of Radiology/ Radio-Diagnosis 1. Medical qualification under IMC Act 1956.2. M.D. in Radio-Diagnosis or equivalent.3. Three years teaching/research experience in specialty after qualifying degree. Note: The essential qualification for the post of Associate Professor remains the same as for the Assistant Professor of the respective discipline, along with required additional teaching/research experience.
Application Fee
Category Fee UR/OBC/EWS Candidates Rs. 3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand only) SC/ST Candidates* Rs. 2,400/- (Rupees Two Thousand Four Hundred only) PwBD Exempted *The application fee in respect of SC/ST candidates shall be refunded in case of those who appear in the interview for the post applied for. The fee shall be paid by way of a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of "Director, AIIMS Rewari" payable at Rewari.
