Common Eligibility Points A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 is required for all medical posts (candidates with Part-II qualifications must also satisfy Section 13(3) conditions). Only experience acquired after obtaining the essential qualifying degree for the applied post is counted. DNB Equivalence: Candidates holding DNB (broad specialty) or DrNB (super-specialty) as their essential qualification must provide documentary evidence of equivalence with MD/MS/DM/M.Ch as per MCI/NMC notification dated 31.10.2018, along with proof that training was done in an institution with an attached hospital (or 500+ bed hospital recognized by NBE), or one year of senior residency in an NMC-recognized teaching institution after passing DNB/DrNB. SC/ST candidates may be granted relaxation of up to 1 year in the required experience, at the discretion of the competent authority. Candidates may apply for more than one post, but must submit a separate online application for each.

Application Fee

Category Fee General (UR)/OBC/EWS ₹3,000 SC/ST/Women/Candidates with Benchmark Disabilities ₹200 (refundable, minus bank charges, only to candidates who appear for interview) Important: Fee is payable only through the online payment gateway of AIIMS Jodhpur. Applications without the prescribed fee will be summarily rejected. The fee, once remitted, is non-refundable except the ₹200 SC/ST/Women/PwBD fee, which is refunded only to those who appear for the interview.

Selection Process

There is no written examination. Selection is through bio-data-based shortlisting followed by a Personal Interview at AIIMS Jodhpur. Merely possessing the prescribed minimum qualification does not entitle a candidate to selection; the Selection Committee shortlists candidates for interview based on bio-data. Shortlisted candidates must produce all original documents at the time of interview. Interviews will be held at AIIMS Jodhpur; no TA/DA is paid for appearing. Minimum interview cut-off marks: 60% for EWS/UR, 55% for OBC, 50% for SC/ST/PwBD categories.
