Eligibility / Qualification
Candidates applying for South Eastern Railway Scouts & Guides Quota Recruitment 2026-27 must fulfil the required educational qualification and Scouts & Guides eligibility conditions. Educational Qualification for Level-2 Posts Passed 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board. 50% marks requirement is not applicable for SC, ST, ESM, PwBD candidates and candidates having higher qualifications from UGC recognized universities. OR 10th Pass from recognized board plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) / ITI approved by NCVT. Candidates must also possess the required Scouts/Guides qualification. Educational Qualification for Level-1 Posts 10th Pass or ITI or equivalent qualification. National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT. Required Scouts/Guides qualification. The qualification requirements for Level-1 posts are mentioned in the official notification.
Application Fee

Eligible candidates from SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Women, Minority and EBC categories will receive a refund of Rs. 250 after appearing in the written examination.

Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages: Written Test Marks on Scouts & Guides Certificates Document Verification Medical Examination Eligible candidates will be called for written examination. Candidates up to five times the notified vacancies who secure minimum qualifying marks will be called for certificate verification. Final merit will be prepared based on written test marks and Scouts & Guides certificate marks. Written Test Total Marks: 60 Marks Duration: 60 Minutes Questions related to Scouts and Guides organization, activities and General Knowledge. Negative marking of one-third marks for every wrong objective answer. The written test will contain 40 objective questions (40 marks) and one essay-type question (20 marks). Marks on Certificates Certificate marks carry 40 marks based on Scouts & Guides activities such as participation in national events, state events, specialized courses and district rallies.
