Eligibility / Qualification
MAHA Metro Recruitment 2026 is open only to experienced candidates of Indian Nationality currently working in Metro Rail/ Railway/ Railway PSUs/ Government Organizations/ PSUs/ Metro Related Infrastructure Industries. Applicants must also be residents of Maharashtra State and possess a domicile certificate issued by the competent authority. Educational qualification and minimum experience required differ by post, as summarized below. MAHA Metro Recruitment 2026 Qualification (Post-wise) Post Minimum Educational Qualification Junior Engineer (Civil/ Electrical/ Rolling Stock/ S&T) Full-time B.E./ B.Tech, or 3-year Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from a Govt. recognized Institute/ University Senior Office Assistant (PR/ Library) Full-time Degree in Library Science OR Mass Communication Office Assistant (NS4) Full-time Graduate in any discipline Technician (Civil/ Electrical/ RS-Diesel Mechanic/ S&T) ITI (NCVT/ SCVT) in the relevant trade from a Govt. recognized institute Multi Tasking Staff cum Motor Driver (NS2) Minimum SSC passed Attendant (NS1) Minimum HSC passed In addition to the base experience, each post requires candidates to meet one of three specific service conditions relating to current pay scale or CTC (IDA Pay Scale for Metro Rail/ Railway PSU employees, CDA Pay Matrix Level for Railways/ Government Organization employees, or a minimum CTC for candidates from Metro-related infrastructure industries). These vary by post; candidates should refer to the full official notification for the exact pay-scale/ CTC threshold applicable to their target post.
Application Fee

Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application and separate fee for each post. The candidate's name, date of birth, post name, and post code must be written on the reverse of the DD, or proof of the online payment/ receipt must be attached.
Selection Process
Written Test (Online or Offline mode) - Total 70 marks, may comprise General Aptitude and Domain Knowledge. For Multi Tasking Staff/ Attendant posts, an Oral Aptitude Test may be conducted instead of an interview. Interview - Total 30 marks, for candidates who qualify the written test as per the merit list; may comprise Experience, Educational Qualification, and Domain Knowledge. Merit List preparation based on combined Written Test and Interview marks. Pre-Medical Examination (PME) of selected candidates as per the merit list, at a MAHA Metro nominated hospital. Issue of Call Letters to candidates found medically fit. The exact schedule and syllabus of the written test will be communicated in advance by MAHA Metro.
