Eligibility / Qualification
Post Qualification Required Assistant Security Officer Serving or Retired personnel in the rank of Junior Commissioned Officer or equivalent from Defence services (Indian Army/ Navy/ Indian Air force/ CAPF/CRPF/BSF/CISF and other allied equivalent services) or Inspector / Sub Inspector / ASI or equivalent rank from Karnataka State Police Department. Additional eligibility requirements: Kannada knowledge is mandatory. This position is advertised for external candidates only. Internal employees of BMRCL, including Regular, Contract and Outsourced employees, are not eligible to apply. Candidates must provide a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a Government Hospital for appearing in the Physical Fitness Test.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages in order: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) Written Test Interview Candidates shall be required to complete a 1.5 km run within 10 min up to 11.30 min as per their age group. Early finishers will be awarded additional points. Only candidates who qualify in the Physical Fitness Test shall be permitted to appear for the Written Test.
