Application Fee

Selection Process
The selection process for UPSSSC Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard Recruitment 2026 is based on a two-tier examination system. In the first stage, candidates will be shortlisted for the Main Written Examination on the basis of their PET-2025 Normalised Score. Thereafter, candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, and Medical Examination — all of which are qualifying in nature. Clearing each stage is mandatory to proceed to the next. Horizontal reservation categories will be adjusted within their respective vertical categories. The detailed selection process is given below. Stage Details 1. Shortlisting for Main Exam Based on PET-2025 Normalised Score; candidates up to 15 times the number of advertised posts (up to cut-off marks rounded to 2 decimal places) will be shortlisted for the Written Examination 2. Written Examination 100 Questions, 100 Marks, Duration: 120 Minutes (2 Hours); Objective and Multiple Choice type questions; Negative marking of ¼ (25%) of prescribed marks for each wrong answer 3. Physical Standard Test (PST) Measurement of height and chest as per prescribed standards; qualifying in nature 4. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Male candidates: 25 km walk/run carrying 10 kg weight in 4 hours; Female candidates: 14 km walk/run in 4 hours; qualifying in nature 5. Medical Examination Conducted by a Medical Board constituted by the Chief Medical Officer at District Community Health Centres; qualifying in nature 6.
