Eligibility / Qualification
Inspector: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Holding analogous posts on regular basis in parent cadre or department OR with 5 years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in Level-6 of pay matrix (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400) and 2 years' experience in handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operations or IT cases or Training in counter terrorism. Sub-Inspector: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
