Eligibility / Qualification
Educational Qualification Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized Board and possess the prescribed computer typing speed. 12th Class pass from a recognized Board. Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English on computer, or Typing speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer. The typing requirement is based on 10,500 key depressions per hour for English or 9,000 key depressions per hour for Hindi, calculated using an average of five key depressions per word. Can 12th Pass Candidates Apply for IAF Hindi Typist? Yes. Class 12 is the minimum educational qualification. However, applicants must also meet the typing requirement, age criteria, reservation conditions and other rules specified in the notification. Is a Graduation Degree Required? No. The advertisement specifies Class 12 as the minimum educational qualification. Selection Process
