The candidate should have passed their Diploma in one of the above-mentioned engineering branches, recognised by AICTE or a GOI-approved institute, on or after 01.07.2023. Candidates who have already completed their apprenticeship, terminated their apprenticeship mid-way, or are currently pursuing an apprenticeship with another organisation are not eligible. Candidates who have acquired or are pursuing a higher qualification (beyond the Diploma) are not eligible. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS and other categories will be as per Government guidelines.

The application fee is not specified in the official notification. Candidates should check the NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in) directly for any fee-related instructions at the time of registration/application.

Selection will be based on the merit of the percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in a Written Test conducted by BEL Ghaziabad. The written test will tentatively be held in the fourth week of October 2026 at BEL Ghaziabad. Shortlisted candidates will be informed for the written test through their registered email ID. Important: Percentage of marks in the Engineering Diploma Examination is mandatory. Candidates are advised to compulsorily enter their percentage of marks/CGPA in the relevant column on the NATS portal. If the percentage of marks is not furnished, the candidature will not be considered.
