There is no competitive written examination. Selection is based on verification of eligibility as dependent family members of Assam Rifles personnel. Eligible Categories (only one dependent family member per deceased / medically discharged / missing personnel): Killed in Action (KIA) Died while in service Discharged from service on medical grounds Missing while in service Recruitment Rally: Tentatively scheduled in Jul/Aug 2026 at Lokhra (Assam). Firm date of reporting and detailed instructions will be sent to eligible candidates by registered post / email and uploaded on the official website www.assamrifles.gov.in.
