Age relaxation is admissible to SC, ST, and other government-notified categories as per prevailing rules. Government servants in UP state service get a 5-year relaxation in the upper age limit as per the applicable government order. Age is calculated based on the date of birth recorded in the High School or equivalent certificate; no other document is accepted for date of birth verification. Eligibility / Qualification
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Eligibility for UPSSSC Avar Abhiyanta (Krishi) Recruitment 2026 has two parts: eligibility to apply for this Main Exam, and the underlying educational qualification for the post itself. Who Can Apply for the Main Exam Only candidates who appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test 2025 (PET-2025) and hold a valid PET-2025 score card issued by UPSSSC are eligible to apply. Shortlisting for the Main Exam is done post-wise, based on the normalized PET-2025 score, up to 15 times the number of advertised posts (including all candidates tied at the final cutoff score, calculated to two decimal places). Candidates whose absolute or normalized PET-2025 score is zero or negative will not be shortlisted for the Main Exam. UPSSSC Avar Abhiyanta (Krishi) Qualification As per the Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Department Avar Abhiyanta Seva Niyamawali, 2015 (Part-4, Rule-8), candidates must hold: A High School certificate from the UP Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, or an equivalent examination recognized by the Government; and A three-year Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from the Prāvidhik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government and approved by AICTE. Candidates should assess their qualification as on the last date of application, 7 October 2026, and must possess the required certificates by that date. Preferential Qualification As per Rule-9 of the same service rules, other things being equal, preference in direct recruitment is given to candidates who have either served a minimum of two years in the Territorial Army, or obtained the National Cadet Corps (NCC) 'B' certificate.

Selection Process
Selection for UPSSSC Avar Abhiyanta (Krishi) Recruitment 2026 follows this process: Preliminary Eligibility Test 2025 (PET-2025) - already conducted; used only as a shortlisting tool for this Main Exam. Shortlisting for the Main Exam based on category-wise normalized PET-2025 score, up to 15 times the number of advertised posts. Avar Abhiyanta (Krishi) Mukhya Pariksha (Main Exam) - a single written objective-type paper of 100 questions and 100 marks, to be completed in 2 hours (120 minutes). Final selection is based on merit in the written Main Exam, as approved by the Uttar Pradesh Government (Karmik Anubhag-3) exam scheme dated 30 June 2026.
