Eligibility / Qualification
Candidates must possess the required educational or technical qualification for the Junior Engineer discipline selected in the application form. Junior Engineer (Civil) Qualification Candidates should possess a three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution. Candidates with a higher qualification in the same discipline from a recognized university or institution are also eligible under the qualification condition. Junior Engineer (Mechanical) Qualification Candidates should possess a three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution. A higher qualification in the same engineering discipline is also accepted under the prescribed requirement. Junior Engineer (Electrical) Qualification Candidates should possess a three-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution. Candidates holding a higher qualification in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution may also meet the educational qualification condition.

Selection Process
The PSSSB Junior Engineer selection process includes an objective-type written examination followed by counselling and document verification for candidates considered in accordance with the merit list and vacancy availability. Written Examination: Candidates will appear in an objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) examination. Merit List: Merit will be prepared based on marks obtained in the written examination. Counselling and Verification: Candidates called for counselling must produce valid original documents supporting their eligibility. Departmental Recommendation: Eligible candidates may be recommended to the concerned departments according to the common merit list and available vacancies. Appearing in the examination or having a name in the merit list does not automatically guarantee appointment. Candidates must satisfy all required recruitment conditions.
