Eligibility / Qualification
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the last date of submission of Online Application Form. Only Indian Citizens are eligible to apply. Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay Examination fees through online mode only via the Odisha Treasury portal linked with the online application form. The examination fee paid shall be refunded to candidates who actually appear in Stage-I (Preliminary Examination). Applications without fee payment (except SC/ST/PwD candidates) will be treated as incomplete and liable for rejection. All candidates must mention their bank account details in the online application form to receive the refund. Selection Process
Selection shall be based on three stages: (i) Preliminary Examination, (ii) Main Written Examination (Technical Paper), and (iii) Certificate Verification. Allotment to a post/service shall be made on the basis of merit-cum-preference. Candidates must appear in all stages; absence at any stage will lead to rejection of candidature. Question papers shall be in both Odia and English versions; candidates must choose their medium while filling the online application form (option once given cannot be changed). Stage 1 - Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) Sl. Subjects Total Marks Duration Mode 1 One Paper: Arithmetic (10th standard), Data Interpretation (Chart, Graph, Table, Data Sufficiency – 10th standard), Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General Mental Ability, Current Events of National and International Importance, Computer/Internet Awareness 150 Marks 150 minutes MCQ (OMR / CBRE mode) Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. A minimum of 5 times the number of vacancies (post-wise and category-wise) shall be shortlisted for Main Written Examination. If vacancies in any post/category are less than 10, then candidates numbering 10 times the vacancies shall be shortlisted. Stage 2 - Main Written Examination (Technical Paper) Sl. Candidates numbering 1.5 times the advertised vacancies (post-wise and category-wise) shall be shortlisted for Certificate Verification. Negative marking: 1/4 of total mark (4 options) or 1/3 of total mark (3 options) Stage 3 - Certificate Verification Candidates shortlisted after Main Written Examination shall attend Certificate Verification. Candidates must produce original academic certificates, marksheets, caste certificate, special category certificates, NOC (if Govt. servant), and other documents as required. Absence at Certificate Verification will result in cancellation of candidature. No request for change of date will be entertained.
