Application Fee
Candidates applying under UR, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), or EWS category are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹500 (Rupees Five Hundred only). Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD, or Ex-Servicemen categories, as well as internal MECON candidates, are fully exempted from paying any fee. The application fee must be paid online through the payment gateway provided on MECON's official website. No other mode of payment (such as demand draft, postal order, or cash) is accepted. Once the fee is paid, candidates must click the "Verify" button to update the application status to "Submitted." Fee paid will not be refunded under any circumstances, so candidates are strongly advised to verify their eligibility before making payment. Applications submitted without fee or with insufficient fee will be rejected.
