Selection Process

Project Technician: Screening and shortlisting for a Trade Test (Practical) based on percentage of marks in the final NTC/NAC examination (candidates called at twice the number of positions); the Trade Test is qualifying in nature, and final merit is based solely on NTC/NAC marks. Welfare Officer: Screening of applications, shortlisting for interview (twice the number of positions) based on percentage of marks in the Bachelor's Degree, followed by a personal interview; final merit is based on interview performance. Junior Project Engineer: Screening, shortlisting for interview (twice the number of vacancies) based on percentage of marks in Diploma/B.Sc., followed by a personal interview; final merit is a weighted score of 75% Diploma/B.Sc. marks and 25% interview performance. Consultant (Coordination): Screening, shortlisting, and a personal interview; selection is based on interview performance and meeting the required eligibility criteria. Document verification from original certificates is carried out before the personal interview/Trade Test for all posts; discrepancies found during verification can lead to rejection of candidature. Ties in merit are resolved first by Ex-Trade Apprentice preference (Project Technician only), then by older age, then alphabetical order of names. No virtual/online interview is conducted for any post, and requests to change the interview/test date, venue, or time are not entertained.
