Eligibility / Qualification

1) Nationality & general eligibility Applicants must be Indian Nationals and meet all conditions specified in Advt. No. E‑II/01/2026(DR) and E‑II/02/2026(DR) for IIT Delhi Non Academic posts. Age limits and relaxations are as per point 13 of Appendix A1 of the Recruitment and Promotion Rules (Amendments) 2022 for Non‑Academic Staff of IIT Delhi; cut‑off date for age, experience and qualification is 08 April 2026. 2) Educational qualification & experience (brief) Superintending Engineer: Master’s/Bachelor’s in relevant Engineering with long Group‑A experience as Executive Engineer in specified pay levels.​ Chief Security Officer: Commissioned Officer/Police officer with Bachelor’s/Master’s degree and 15–20 years relevant experience as per clauses.​ Medical Officer & Medical Officer (Psychiatry): MBBS with compulsory internship and minimum 3 years’ experience in recognised hospital; PG degree/diploma preferred.​ Career Counsellor: Master’s in Psychology/Social Work/relevant discipline with at least 7 years’ experience in psychometric testing and career counselling.​ AEE (Civil), JE (Electrical), Application Analyst, Assistant Administrative Officer, Administrative Assistant, Accounts & Audit Assistant: specified degree/diploma (Civil/Electrical/Computer/Commerce/Any discipline) with required experience and minimum 55% marks.​ 3) Age limits (post-wise upper age) Superintending Engineer: 55 years; Chief Security Officer: 50 years.​ Medical Officer / Medical Officer (Psychiatry) / Career Counsellor: 45 years.​ AEE (Civil): 45 years; JE (Electrical), Application Analyst, Assistant Administrative Officer: 35 years.​ Administrative Assistant, Accounts & Audit Assistant: 30 years.​ 4) Reservation & PwBD E‑II/01/2026 is a Special Recruitment Drive to fill 6 backlog PwBD vacancies in specified posts with detailed functional requirements and categories of disabilities.​ E‑II/02/2026 posts are UR but identified as suitable for certain PwBD categories; age relaxation and other benefits for SC/ST/OBC‑NCL/EWS/PwBD/Ex‑servicemen as per Government of India norms.

Application Fee

Candidates applying for IIT Delhi Non Academic Recruitment 2026 (Advt. No. E-II/01/2026(DR) and E-II/02/2026(DR)) have to pay the combined application plus processing fee as per their category. Selection Process

Screening/shortlisting of applications based on eligibility, qualifications and experience; higher criteria may be applied if applications are large in number. Tier-wise selection stages (Tier-I, Tier-II, Tier-III such as written test, presentation and interview for Group A posts) followed by document verification; ratio of 1:8 candidates per vacancy for higher tiers in Group A posts. Final merit list prepared based on performance in selection stages; appointment subject to verification of original documents and fulfilment of all conditions.
