Eligibility / Qualification
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the date of reckoning (01-05-2026). Only Indian Nationals aged 18 years and above are eligible to apply. Educational qualifications must be from Government / UGC / AIU / AICTE recognized institutes. Equivalent qualifications shall be considered as per Government / UGC / AIU / AICTE guidelines. For E4: additionally, First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted) under Metalliferous Mines Regulations (qualifying in nature). Environment Management Bachelor's Degree in Environment Engineering/Technology OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology with PG Degree/Diploma in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Management / Environment Science. Safety & Fire Services Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology with PG Degree/Diploma in Safety Engineering Management OR B.Tech in Safety / Fire Engineering. Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application processing fee as specified below. The fee must be paid online through the Payment Gateway / NEFT Online Transfer via HCL's website only. No other form of remittance shall be accepted. Fee paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Selection Process
The selection process consists of a single stage - Personal Interview (PI) carrying 100% weightage. Candidates will be shortlisted for PI based on experience and additional qualifications if applications exceed the zone of consideration. The final selection and merit list will be based solely on performance in the Personal Interview. Stage 1 - Shortlisting Criteria (if applications exceed zone of consideration) Criteria Marks For every completed year of relevant experience beyond minimum requirement 1 Mark per year For every additional higher qualification over the minimum essential qualification (relevant cadre/discipline only) 1 Mark each, subject to maximum 2 Marks Tie-break: Higher company turnover gets higher rank – Stage 2 - Personal Interview: 100% Weightage Zone of Consideration (Shortlisting Ratio for Interview) Number of Vacancies (Category-wise) Number of Candidates to be Called for Personal Interview Single Vacancy 10 candidates More than 1 vacancy 5 candidates per vacancy (1:5 ratio)
