Eligibility / Qualification
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions before applying. Knowledge of Konkani is essential for most posts. In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with knowledge of Konkani, the GPSC may recommend a candidate if otherwise found fit and this requirement can be relaxed by the Government on the recommendation of GPSC, if the Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do in case of Group 'A' posts in Professional Colleges and Consultants in the Directorate of Health Services. Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the GPSC in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Educational Qualification - Post-wise Department / Post Essential Qualification Desirable Scientific Officer, Assistant Director, Environmental Officer (by Transfer on Deputation) - Dept. of Environment and Climate Change Official holding analogous post on regular basis under State Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Body/Corporation/Statutory Body. - Assistant Engineer (by Transfer on Deputation) - Dept. of Environment and Climate Change (1) Official holding analogous post under State Government/PSU/Autonomous Body/Corporation/Statutory Body; OR (2) Official in Level-6 of pay matrix with 5 years regular service in the grade, possessing Degree in Civil Engineering (with Environmental Engineering/Pollution Control as one of the subjects) from a recognized university. - Dy. Director (Technical) (by Transfer on Deputation) - Dept. of Environment and Climate Change Official holding analogous post on regular basis under State Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Body/Corporation/Statutory Body. - Lecturer in Pedodontics / Orthodontics / Community Dentistry / Public Health Dentistry - Goa Dental College and Hospital (i) A qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948; (ii) Post-graduate qualification in a concerned speciality of Dentistry from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent; (iii) Should be registered with Dental Council; (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. (i) One year teaching experience after post graduation in the concerned speciality of Dentistry in a recognized Institution; (ii) Three years teaching experience as Registrar/Tutor/Senior Resident/Demonstrator in the concerned speciality of Dentistry in a recognized Institution; (iii) Knowledge of Marathi. Psychiatrist - Institute of Psychiatry and Human Behaviour (i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956; (ii) Post-graduate degree/Diploma in Psychiatry as recognized by the Medical Council of India or equivalent; (iii) At least 2 years experience in the concerned speciality as Junior Resident; (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Knowledge of Marathi. Clinical Psychologist - Institute of Psychiatry and Human Behaviour (i) Master's Degree in Psychology from a recognized University or equivalent; (ii) Master of Philosophy (Clinical Psychology) or Diploma in Medical and Social Psychology (Two Years Course) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent; (iii) Two years experience of working in the field of Psychology or Clinical Psychology or Medical and Social Psychology including psychological testing and counselling; (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. (i) Doctorate in the concerned field from a recognized University or equivalent; (ii) Knowledge of Marathi. Dy. Town Planner - Town and Country Planning Department (i) Degree in Regional/Town Planning from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent; (ii) 2 years experience in a Planning or architectural office; (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. (i) Associateship of the Institute of Town Planners (India) or equivalent membership of a professional Institution; (ii) Experience in the preparation of development plans; (iii) Knowledge of Marathi. Block Development Officer - Department of Personnel (i) Degree in any branch from a recognized University or equivalent; (ii) Knowledge of Konkani. (i) Degree in Sociology/Social Work from a recognized University or equivalent; (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Application Fee
Once the application form is filled appropriately, candidates are required to pay the application fee either online or offline. Applications where fee payment has been made after the last date will be summarily rejected and no refund of this payment will be provided. Only after successful payment can candidates download their application form. Candidates should carefully read the "Instructions" on the Commission's website for the exact fee amount applicable to their category. Payment Mode Details Online Payment Make online payment through the portal; Download e-receipt showing successful status. Offline Payment (SBI Branch, Goa) Generate e-challan; Make cash payment at any SBI Branch situated in Goa only on or before the last date (e-challan validity: 7 days from generation); Bank stamp is essential on the e-challan; Stamped e-challan to be produced to the Commission's office on or before the last date of submission of application.

Selection Process
Prescribed Educational Qualifications are minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for Interview. Where the number of applications received is large, the Commission will shortlist candidates to be called for Interview as mentioned in the "Instructions" available on the Commission's website. All communications concerning the candidate's application will be sent through the email address/mobile number provided in the application form. Candidates are advised to check their email accounts, mobile phones, and the Commission's website regularly for updates/notices concerning their application. Stage Details Stage 1 – Shortlisting Applications screened based on educational qualifications and eligibility. Where applications are large, Commission will shortlist candidates as per Instructions on its website. Stage 2 – Interview Shortlisted candidates called for Interview. Date and details will be communicated via email/mobile/Commission's website.
