| Age Limit | Applicant should have attained minimum 18 years of age, maximum 27 years as on the application closing date for the UR and EWS categories. Eligibility / Qualification
Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply. Applicants must possess the required educational and technical qualifications from recognized institutions. Post Qualification Required Technician (Skilled) Matriculation (10th class pass) from a recognized Board or equivalent, and ITI Pass Certificate in the specified trade or equivalent Defence Services Tradesman Course approved by Central/State Government. Technician (Semi Skilled) ITI Pass Certificate in the specified trade or its equivalent Defence Services Tradesman Course approved by Central or State Governments. Additional requirements and conditions for each post are as follows: Specified Trades for Technician (Skilled): Computer Hardware and Networking, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, Cutting & Sewing, Electrician, Fitter, Information Technology and Electronic System Maintenance, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Painter, Pattern Maker, Plumber, Refrigeration and Air conditioner Mechanic, Tool and Die Maker or Tools and Die (Jig and Fixture). Experience for Technician (Skilled): One year experience in the specified trade from a recognised Organisation or Undertaking. Specified Trades for Technician (Semi Skilled): Book Binder, Carpenter, Computer Hardware and Networking, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, Cutting & Sewing, Electrician, Fitter, Information Technology and Electronic System Maintenance, Instrument Mechanic, Painter, Plumber, Refrigeration and Air conditioner Mechanic, Tool and Die Maker or Tools and Die (Jig and Fixture). Higher Qualification: Candidates must disclose any higher qualification possessed in the application form. Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of the following stages in order: Written Test Departmental Trade Skill Test Document Verification and Medical Examination Resolution of Tie Cases In case where more than one candidate secures equal marks (trade-cum-station wise), the tie will be resolved by applying the following methods in order of sequence: Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher. Candidate with higher marks in Numerical Aptitude. Candidate with higher marks in English Language & Comprehension.
