M.Sc. candidates need 1 additional year and Diploma candidates need 3 additional years of experience beyond the minimum 2-year criterion. Mechanical (Post Code-02) Full-time Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Industrial & Production/Mechatronics/Automobile/Manufacturing/Power Plant/Mining Machinery/Materials & Metallurgical/Robotics & Automation/Industrial/Thermal/Power/Production Engineering; OR a Diploma in the same streams; OR AMIE (enrolment up to 31.05.2013). Legal (Post Code-07) Full-time Bachelor's or Postgraduate Degree in Law from a Bar Council of India-recognised College/University/Institution, with experience as an Advocate/Legal Consultant/Legal Assistant/Associate (enrolled with the Bar Council) or as a Law Officer in a bank/financial institution/statutory corporation/company/Government department. Advocates must submit a Bar Council enrolment certificate and a Bar Association or Presiding Officer's certificate confirming the practice period. Finance & Accounts (Post Code-08) CA Inter / ICWA Inter / Full-time 2-year MBA (Finance), with experience in Finance & Accounts in any manufacturing industry or PSU. Experience in the cement industry is considered an added advantage for all posts. Computer knowledge is essential for all posts. Post qualification experience is reckoned from the date of issuance of the Degree/Diploma or Mark Sheet. Important: Posts against Post Code 01 to 05 are not suitable for persons with Colour Blindness or Visually Handicapped persons.
Application Fee
Category Fee UR / OBC / EWS ₹100 (non-refundable), via Demand Draft in favour of "Cement Corporation of India Limited", payable at New Delhi SC / ST / PWD / Female Exempted Important: Applications without the Demand Draft (where applicable) will be summarily rejected. The application fee, once paid, is not refunded under any circumstance.
Selection Process
Eligible candidates are shortlisted for Interview based on the declaration made in the application form. If a large number of applications are received for a post, shortlisting will additionally consider relevant experience, current CTC/monthly pay, and higher qualification based on the enclosed documents. Where required, a Written Test or Group Discussion may be conducted for shortlisted candidates before the Interview. Shortlisted candidates must produce original documents supporting their eligibility at the time of Interview; failure to do so means they will not be permitted to appear, and Travelling Allowance will not be reimbursed. Candidates called for interview are eligible for sleeper-class train fare (shortest route) between their declared correspondence address and the interview venue, only if the distance exceeds 50 km. Other things being equal, candidates with additional relevant professional qualifications and cement-industry experience will be given preference. Candidates shortlisted after interview must undergo a Medical Examination, with reports signed by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of a Government Hospital in CCI's prescribed format, examined by CCI's Medical Officer before document verification. Candidates found medically unfit will not proceed to document verification. Document Verification requires original documents and photocopies; candidates whose documents are not in order will be summarily rejected. Candidates must clear every stage (including the medical examination) successfully to be adjudged suitable for selection; the Corporation's decision is final.
