Eligibility / Qualification
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the cut-off date 01-04-2026. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. Relevant post-qualification work experience is mandatory. Qualifications must be from AICTE approved / UGC recognized Universities. All post-wise essential qualifications and work experience details are given below. 1A. Team Member / Team Leader – Exploration (BPRL) Criteria Details Essential Educational Qualification B.E. / B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR Post-Graduate in Geo-sciences (Geology / Applied Geology / Geophysics / Applied Geophysics) with minimum 60% aggregate (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Essential Work Experience (as on 01.04.2026) Minimum 10 years of post-qualification work experience with at least 5 years of cumulative experience in Exploration / Reservoir Management in Exploration & Projects Hydrocarbon sector. 1B. Team Member / Team Leader – Asset Manager (BPRL) Criteria Details Essential Educational Qualification B.E. / B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Post Graduate Degree in Engineering or MBA / PGDM or Post Graduate in Geo-Sciences is desirable. Essential Work Experience (as on 01.04.2026) Minimum 7 years’ work experience with at least 5 years of cumulative experience in production activities / Asset management in Exploration & Projects Hydrocarbon sector. 1C. Team Member – Reservoir Engineer (BPRL) Criteria Details Essential Educational Qualification B.E. / B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering / Petroleum Technology / Applied Petroleum Engineering / Chemical Engineering with minimum 60% aggregate (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Essential Work Experience (as on 01.04.2026) Minimum 7 years’ work experience in Upstream Oil & Gas Industry in Reservoir Engineering. 2A. Company Secretary – Team Leader Criteria Details Essential Educational Qualification Qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Additional qualification of LLB will be preferred. Essential Work Experience (as on 01.04.2026) Minimum 18 years of post-qualification experience, of which at least the last 5 years should be in an equity-listed Company in their Company Secretarial set-up with knowledge of Companies Act, SEBI regulations, FEMA Act, Listing Requirements, etc. 2B. Company Secretary – Team Member Criteria Details Essential Educational Qualification Qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Additional qualification of LLB will be preferred. Essential Work Experience (as on 01.04.2026) Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience, of which at least the last 2 years should be in an equity-listed Company in their Company Secretarial setup with knowledge of Companies Act, SEBI regulations, FEMA Act, Listing Requirements, etc. 3A. Team Member / Leader – Finance Criteria Details Essential Educational Qualification CA (Final Examination cleared in First attempt) with minimum 55% aggregate (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR ICWA (Final Examination cleared in First attempt) with minimum 55% aggregate (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Essential Work Experience (as on 01.04.2026) Minimum 14 years of post-qualification experience in Finance / Accounts / Treasury Operations / Taxation / Auditing / Budgeting / Governance & Compliance etc. 4A. Head Sales (Petrochemical Taskforce) Criteria Details Essential Educational Qualification B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical / Mechanical / Polymer / Petrochemical / Plastics Engineering / Plastics Technology with minimum 60% aggregate (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR PhD / M.Sc in Applied Polymer Science / Polymer Science with minimum 60% (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR MBA / PGDM with minimum 60% aggregate (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Essential Work Experience (as on 01.04.2026) Minimum 21 years’ post-qualification work experience in marketing, with at least 10 years in Sales / Marketing / Branding in the petrochemical / polymer industry. 4B. Technical Officer – Polymer Marketing Criteria Details Essential Educational Qualification Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering / Polymer Science / Polymer Engineering / Materials Science / Materials Engineering / Petrochemical Engineering / Plastics Engineering / Plastics Technology with minimum 60% aggregate (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR PhD / M.Sc in Applied Polymer Science / Polymer Science with minimum 60% (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Essential Work Experience (as on 01.04.2026) Minimum 4 years of experience in polymer processing / application development / technical service within the polymer industry. 5A. Team Lead – WSA (Highway Rest Stops) Criteria Details Essential Educational Qualification Full-time Masters / Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration / Hospitality Management / Retail Management / Marketing Management / Operations Management / Hotel Management with minimum 60% aggregate (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Essential Work Experience (as on 01.04.2026) Minimum 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience, of which at least 5 years in retail operations and/or hospitality/hotel management and/or business strategy and/or marketing and/or revenue management in Convenience Retail / QSR / F&B Chains / Hospitality / Mall facility / Airport or Railway retail or F&B operations; with at least 2 years in a team leadership role covering multi-store / multi-location / multi-facility managing complete P&L. 5B. Selection Process
The multi-stage selection process will be adopted based on the number of applications received for each profile. Final selection is subject to document verification, performance in all selection stages, and Pre-Employment Medical Examination. Stage 1 – Application Screening Applications will be screened on the basis of years of relevant work experience, educational qualification, and other eligibility criteria as specified for each profile. Stage 2 – Computer Based Test (CBT) Part Section Details Part I General Aptitude Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning Part II Professional Knowledge Questions related to the area of specialization of the applied profile Stage 3 – Case Based Discussion / Group Task / Personal Interview Candidates shortlisted in the CBT (category-wise and discipline-wise merit list) will be called for Case Based Discussion and/or Group Task and/or Personal Interview. Document verification shall be conducted before this stage. Provisional selection will be based on relevant work experience, on-the-job achievements, and overall performance across all selection stages. Stage 4 – Pre-Employment Medical Examination Provisionally selected candidates must clear a Pre-Employment Medical Examination conducted by BPCL’s authorized doctor / nominated hospital as per OISD-GDN-166 guidelines. Medical fitness decision shall be final and binding. Reference for medical examination does not mean final selection.
