SalarySelected candidates will draw basic pay in the scale of ₹82,485-4050(14)-139185-4390(4)-156745, along with other admissible allowances. In addition to emoluments, the Company provides Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance, and National Pension System (NPS), with leased accommodation extended as per Company rules. Gross pay is approximately ₹1,10,000 per month at Metropolitan centres. Selected candidates will serve a probation period of one year (extendable at the Company’s discretion) and must pass the non-life Licentiate Examination conducted by the Insurance Institute of India during probation. Candidates must also execute a guarantee bond to serve the Company for a minimum of five years, including the probation period; early resignation attracts liquidated damages plus a ₹35,000 onboarding and integration cost.
Age LimitAs on 30.06.2026, the minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age is 30 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 30.06.1996 and not later than 30.06.2005 (both dates inclusive). Upper age relaxation is available as follows, subject to a cumulative cap of 45 years. Eligibility / Qualification

A candidate must be either a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Candidates in the last four categories must hold an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.

Selection Process

Selection for UIIC AO Recruitment 2026 is through a three-stage process: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview. Tier I – Preliminary Examination (Qualifying, 100 marks, 60 minutes): English Language (30 questions/30 marks), Reasoning (35/35), Quantitative Aptitude (35/35). Tier II – Main Examination for Generalists: Objective Test of 250 marks (English Language, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness with special reference to the Financial Sector, and Computer Knowledge – 200 questions, 150 minutes) followed by a Descriptive Test of 30 marks (Letter Writing and Essay, 30 minutes). Tier II – Main Examination for Hindi Officers: Objective Test of 200 marks (English Language, Reasoning, Professional Knowledge of Hindi/English, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge – 150 questions, 120 minutes) followed by a Descriptive Test of 50 marks (English/Hindi essay, letter writing, and translation, 60 minutes). Interview: Candidates qualifying the Main Examination are called for interview, up to three times the vacancies in the respective category/discipline. For Generalists, the final merit list is prepared using Main Examination Objective Test marks and Interview marks in the ratio 75:25; Preliminary and Descriptive Test marks are not counted for merit. For Hindi Officers, the Main Examination (Objective + Descriptive) and Interview marks are considered in the ratio 75:25; Preliminary Examination marks are not counted for merit. There is a penalty of one-fourth of the marks assigned to a question for each wrong answer in the objective tests.
