Age LimitThe minimum and maximum age for each post is listed in the eligibility table above (assessed as on 01.08.2026). Selection Process

Selection is through an Online Examination followed by a Personal Interview. For Post Code 01 (Manager – Branch Management): the Online Examination has 100 questions/100 marks in 2 hours, covering English Language (25Q, 30 minutes) and Professional Knowledge – Banking Law & Practice, Indian Economy & Financial System, Principles & Practices of Banking, Accounting & Financial Management (75Q, 90 minutes). For all other posts: the Online Examination has 100 questions/100 marks in 2 hours, covering English Language (25Q, 30 minutes), General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry (25Q, 30 minutes), and Professional Knowledge, which varies post-wise (50Q, 60 minutes). There is no minimum qualifying mark for General Awareness and English Language; candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in Professional Knowledge. Minimum qualifying marks in the Online Examination: 35% for unreserved candidates, 30% for reserved candidates. 1/4th of the marks allotted to a question is deducted for a wrong answer; there is no penalty for unattempted questions. The Interview carries a maximum of 100 marks, assessed on Role-related Industry Exposure, Subject Knowledge, and Communication Skills. Minimum qualifying marks: 50% for unreserved, 45% for reserved candidates. The final merit list is prepared with 80% weightage to the Online Examination and 20% weightage to the Interview.
